Project description The Prestige Metal team is proud to have contributed to the development and construction of this staircase. If you have limited space to build your staircase, a straight floating staircase is your best option. Also known as an open staircase (since the space or riser between the steps is empty), the floating staircase gives the impression of floating, but also accentuates the surrounding space. For this project, the client wanted a staircase that would match the adjacent wall cladding (imitation natural stone), but also have a modern look. So, he opted for a mono central steel stringer, solid wood steps and handrail, with a combination of glass panels and stainless steel rods to create a unique railing. Each section of the railing is separated by a stainless steel post. The end result is a modern straight floating staircase that exudes contemporary style while being practical and pleasing to the eye.
