Project description While contemporary and modern styles are very trendy, they may not be right for every home. The Prestige Metal team is proud to have contributed to the design and construction of this staircase. In most cases, the typical classic staircase is made of dark wood to enhance the dramatic effect. However, in this particular project, the client opted for a combination of modern and classic style by incorporating a lighter-colored wood. Therefore, the staircase consists of wood treads, newel posts and railing, and two steel balusters designs with wood inserts, to create a harmonious railing sequence. The result is a curved wood staircase, which, through the fusion of materials, creates a clever combination of classic and modern styles, while fitting the decor of the residence.
