Project description The Prestige Metal team is proud to have contributed to the design and construction of this staircase. When you have limited space to build your staircase, a floating staircase is one of the best options to adopt. For this particular project fron Escaliers J.Desjardins, the client wanted to give the impression of more space by incorporating glass into his staircase design. So, he opted for a mono central steel stringer as a base, with light colored wood treads (contrasted with the black colored stringer for a contemporary touch), and glass railings for a more airy look that accentuates the floating staircase's impression of lightness. So, the result is a floating (or open) U-shaped (or half-turn) staircase that wonderfully combines modern and contemporary styles that perfectly suits this recent construction.
