PAINT

Dry powder paint is heat cured to high intensity. It covers uniformly and hides traces of welding and sanding.
Durable, scratch-resistant finish.

PATINA

Powder-coated paint base with a handpainted patina finish applied with an irregular brush and covering app. 40% of the surface.

RUSTIC

We apply our colors according to a traditional patina method which involves hand-wiping in irregular strokes over a coat of baked paint. This handcrafted method allows for a natural variations from one baluster to the next for a beautifully authentic effect.

EXTERIOR PAINT (NX)

The metal is zinc plated to resist corrosion, then finished with electrostatic paint for a glossy sheen.

VENETIAN

Powder-coated paint base with a handpainted patina finish applied with an irregular brush to the corners, ornaments, and other decorative elements.

Project description

This residential project showcases the combined expertise of Prestige Metal and Bourque Escaliers, two Quebec-based companies renowned for their craftsmanship and the quality of their custom work. The goal: to create a staircase that combines strength, aesthetics, and fluidity in perfect harmony.The Seattle black steel center stringer provides discreet and elegant structural support, while the solid wood treads offer a natural warmth and balance.

The forged steel balusters (models T-021 and T-010) add a refined decorative element with rectangular shapes, vertical lines, and minimalist geometry. The design is completed with a solid wood handrail and matching posts, ensuring a seamless transition between materials.

The result: a durable, elegant, and timeless staircase, built to stand the test of time.
