Project description

In this residential project, Prestige Metal collaborated with Akira Bois et Design, a Quebec-based company specializing in custom wood and glass staircases. The goal was to design a floating staircase with a central steel stringer that combines structural strength, transparency, and visual harmony.

The black steel central stringer Seattle (LSE) supports each light hardwood tread with precision engineering. The tempered glass railing provides safety and stability while maximizing light flow, and the solid wood handrail adds natural warmth and visual balance.

Seamlessly integrated into a modern interior, this staircase stands as an architectural centerpiece, connecting spaces with elegance, clarity, and technical precision.
