Project description With the collaboration of Escaliers du Fjord who installed and built this staircase, we proceeded with the design of this staircase. When you think of a staircase, you have in mind a long series of steps that follow one another on several floors. In the case of this project, the client wanted to emphasize on the banister that would act as a separation between two landings, separated by a few steps. Therefore, the client opted for light colored wood steps, handrails and posts, and darker forged steel balusters, to create an interesting contrast. The result is a short modern staircase and a long banister that creates an effective and aesthetic separation between the two rooms.
