Project description Prestige Metal is proud to have contributed to the realization of staircase projects. Modern floating staircases are more and more in demand and this project is no exception. A staircase can be described as floating when the space (riser) between each step is empty. This type of staircase gives the impression of floating, as it rests (in most cases) on a single, double or side stringer. For this particular project, the client wanted a staircase that would allow access to all floors, from the basement to the second landing. He chose an open staircase with a variety of railing materials, including glass railings for the lower portion and steel rods for the upper portion. Stainless steel posts separate each of the glass panels, creating a balanced and harmonious sequence. The end result is a floating L-shaped (half-turn) staircase with multiple landings that combines modern and contemporary styles.
